Switching and your data
Your company's data is yours. This page says how to take all of it with you, in what format, and where it is kept — as the EU Data Act (Regulation (EU) 2023/2854, Art. 25–30) asks. Draft, to be checked by a lawyer.
Taking your data
- Who and when: any owner, at any time — also after a trial ends and during the 30-day deletion wait. Dashboard → Company → Download all data.
- Free: no fee for the export, no notice period and no switching charge.
- Two forms of the same data:
- one JSON file (UTF-8), machine-readable, for importing into another system;
- a ZIP of spreadsheets (one CSV file per table, semicolon-separated, UTF-8), which opens in Excel — good for the 10-year archive the law asks businesses to keep.
What the export contains
The company's settings; staff accounts (without passwords); stores and places; suppliers and their items and prices; item groups, items, barcodes and where items sit; current stock and the full stock history (every change, who made it and when, prices at the time); sales and purchase orders; stock counts; imported sales files; supplier invoices uploaded for deliveries; customer orders; customers, commercial offers and invoices (with VAT per rate and payment state); new-item requests and notes on unusual days.
Not included (security data, not business data): password hashes, sign-in and email-link codes, staff worker codes, a cash register's access key, and internal counters.
The file format
The JSON file is one object:
{
"format": "inventorization-export",
"version": 4,
"exportedAt": "2026-10-13T12:00:00.000Z",
"company": { … },
"users": [ … ],
"items": [ … ],
"transactions": [ … ],
…
}
Dates and times are ISO 8601 (UTC), money is a decimal number in euros,
and rows refer to each other by their ids (UUIDs) — for example a
transaction's item_id is the item_id of a row in items. version
goes up whenever the shape changes. A full description of every table is
available from support@stoqa.lt on request.
Leaving
- Download the data (above) and check it opens.
- End the agreement — on the Company page (Delete company) or by writing to support@stoqa.lt. No notice period.
- We help with the switch for up to 30 days on request.
- The company stays readable and downloadable for 30 days after a deletion request; any owner can cancel in that time. Then everything is deleted; backups keep it for up to 35 more days and are then gone too.
Where the data is kept
- Database and app: DigitalOcean, Frankfurt (Germany, EU).
- Backups: on the same server and an encrypted copy at Backblaze, EU Central region (Amsterdam, the Netherlands).
- Emails are sent through Scaleway (France, EU).
